Cans, Strings
In this work I have used cans of various sizes and long strings as the main material source in the production of sound. I’m interested in the way these ‘canned’ sounds seem to articulate emotions. At times the sounds are very similar to human voice, and so we hear certain qualities of human nature; anger, sadness, pleasure, fear etc. What these voices mean of course depends on the interpretation of the audience.

この作品では、様々なサイズの缶と長い弦を主な素材としています。私はこれらの缶を通して聞く音が感情を表しているように聞こえることに興味を持ちました。時にその音は人間の、怒り、悲しみ、喜びといった様々な感情のように聞こえます。これらの声は観客によって異なる意味を持つでしょう。
