The Instrument Builders Project will launch the new edition. IBP expands its programs to the collaboration in 3 countries, Indonesia, Australia, and Japan.
For three weeks, artists with diverse practices and cultural backgrounds from 3 different countries will create musical instruments while sharing the processes of making these devices.
Various public programs are scheduled at the last week of the project. Please keep eyes on it!

The Instrument Builders Projectは、これまでインドネシア、オーストラリアの2ヶ国間の共同プロジェクトとして、これまで3回にわたり開催してきました。この度、日本も含めた3ヶ国による「ザ・インストゥルメント・ビルダーズ・プロジェクト・キョウト－循環するエコー」を開催します。アーティストとしての活動も、文化的バックグラウンドもさまざまなアーティストが、3週間にわたるプロジェクト期間の中で、「楽器を創作する」プロセスを共有しながら、新たな楽器創りに挑戦します。
プロジェクト最終週には、多彩なパブリックプログラムも予定しています。お楽しみに。
